The Mozart Project is designed exclusively for iPad and includes over three hours of music, two hours of streaming video, (filmed performances, demonstrations and short films) four hours of interviews extracts, and seven panel discussions chaired by Paul Morley. Amongst the many highlights is an exclusive reading of Alexander Pushkin’s poetic drama Mozart and Salieri, which brings, for the first time, BAFTA award winning Simon Russell Beale as Salieri under the direction of Sir Jonathan Miller and stars HBO and BBC star Russell Tovey as Mozart.

    You'll learn more about Mozart from Google than this App! Pretentiously presented with poor functionality it does nothing to inspire interest in the subject. Worst of all, for a so called educational tool, you can't enlarge the text or have it audio? Save your money and buy the music.

    For anyone wanting to learn about Mozart and his music, or for someone like me who is already a fan, this is a wonderful resource that provides a fascinating journey through his life and work. The text of the iBook is complemented by an extensive range of audio and video that make for a truly enjoyable interactive experience. Clearly, a huge amount of effort and talent has gone into its creation, and I'm very grateful to the producers for all their fantastic work and to all involved. It's excellent value for money and a purchase I would highly recommend.

    I got this having seen it featured in the Sunday Times and just thought I had to get it. Over the years I've bought many books on Mozart and other great composers but none have been quite so comprehensive and fun as this. It feels both familiar yet modern all at the same time... Quite stunning really. MUST BUY!

    I sat yesterday to read this amazing iBook . After I finished the first chapter entitled The Grand Tour i I felt is had met Amadeus his father and his sister in his home town of Saltzburg. We heard anecdotes about his family tour the city and listened to his music. If I didn't know the musical jargon I just clicked m it and up came a description. A truly amazing experience a must have iBook which yeas ruddy was no 2 in the iBook charts after an fantastic review in the Sunday times . Well done Jamie and Harry!

    This is such an awesome book (if you can call it that!). So much content, music, video, sound recording, original transcripts and letters, it puts Mozart in the context and brings the story to life so well. For fans of Mozart, or just fans of music in general, this is a must buy - I can’t wait to get fully stuck in. Congratulations, the authors should be given a medal of some kind.
